How do I apply to join a Giving Leadership Council?
Visit our Giving Leadership Council map to find and select a council and ‘Click to join’. We will collect some personal information from you and contact you via email to discuss next steps.
How much does it cost to be a member?
A minimum donation of $300 per year is required to join a council. This includes a $100 annual donation that we use to organize councils and administer grants to selected nonprofits. The remaining $50 per quarter ($200 annually) goes directly to the selected nonprofits and is charged at the beginning of each quarter.
Is attendance required for every virtual meeting?
Attendance is not required to remain a member. If you are not able to make it to a meeting, you can cast your nonprofit vote by email instead.
How do I cancel my council membership?
To cancel, navigate to the app and sign in. Tap ‘Menu’ then ‘Giving Leadership Councils’. Select ‘Your Membership’ then scroll down and tap ‘Cancel Membership.’
Can I transfer my membership to a different council?
Yes, please contact us to let us know which council you would like to transfer into and the reason. Our team will make the shift and confirm with you when the change is complete.
